With the 6th Wuzhou International Gems Festival as a platform, Wuzhou is intensifying the promotion for trade and investment bidding making full use of industrial advantages. According to the statistics by the Investment& Exposition Inviting Department of WZIJF Organizing Committee, 48 projects have been confirmed to be signed during the festival by October 22nd, total investment amount of which reaches RMB６.441 billions.
The trades involved in the above-mentioned projects to be signed mainly include ceramics manufacture, recycled metal resource processing, transportation, trading& logistics, gift manufacture& processing, shipbuilding, and real estate development. 21 of the projects that have been confirmed to be signed are of an investment amount more than RMB 100 millions respectively, among which Xin Dongli. Xin Jianqiu and Xin Hongji ceramics manufacture projects in Cenxi all attract 300 millions investment each, ceramics manufacture project in Teng County attracts 800 millions, stainless steel processing base project in Changzhou District attracts 300 millions. Moreover, projects related to infrastructure construction and?jewel industry also attract considerably big amount of investments, such as Tangyuan chemical engineering dock project of RMB 180 millions investment and gift industrial park project of 200 millions. Currently the Investment& Exposition Inviting Department of WZIJF Organizing Committee is following on the projects to be signed to ensure their operability and practicality.
According to the authority of Wuzhou Merchants Bureau, it is the superior resources of rare earth and non-ferrous metal we have, policy of processing trade industry transfer, as well as the advantage of stereoscopic traffic network play an important role in attracting trade and investment successfully. The fact that quite a lot of??the projects attracting investment are the ones involving characterized industries, such as the ceramics manufacture and recycled metal resource processing projects of hundreds of millions investments, is closely related to the strategic guidance set and support provided by municipal Party committee and government. Meanwhile the?jewel industry has also been highlighted in the trade and investment bidding of this festival and the?jewel processing and gift manufacture projects appeal greatly to many enterprises and businessmen, of which Xuping jewelry project (phrase 1) and gift industry park both attract investment over 100 millions respectively.?
Over recent years, Wuzhou has been striving to create an investment-friendly environment and enhance the appeal to trade and investment intent, by way of the high-speed actuation of the projects involving agriculture, industry, trading& logistics, etc. to realize the all-round coordination and speed up the development of local economy and society. As known, 40 projects were signed during the 5th WZIJF, 70% of which, that is to say, 28, has been completed, with a total investment of RMB 2.88 billions; 11 other have gone into production, total investment 1.09 billions. 250 projects in all were actually signed during the last 5 Wuzhou International Gems Festivals and the contract investment input were around RMB 12.322 billions. |
