Tourism in Wuzhou is speeding up the building of the leisure and tourism base using Wuzhou International Jewel Festival as the platform, with the slogan “visiting the beautiful scenery of the century-old commercial port, tasting Chinese delicacies and appreciating gorgeous synthetic jewels”, making great progress in creating our own “Golden Week for Tourism” after the National Day golden week.
During all past Festivals, tourism in Wuzhou has shown the rich tourist resources and catering culture of the city to visitors from all parts of the world, emphasizing the select jewel tour route and bringing forth new ideas on the activity planning of Tour and Delicacies Carnival, gradually shaping Wuzhou as a regional leisure and tourism base and increasing its appeal to tourists from surrounding areas.
To quicken the development of the leisure tourism and improve the quality of reception and services in tourist industry for the preparation of the travel climax during the Jewel Festival, Wuzhou municipal tourism department has been further advancing the appraisal of the star hotels for tourism. Up till now, there are nearly 20 hotels of 3 stars and above in Wuzhou which will provide good accommodation services for visitors coming for sightseeing during the Jewel Festival.
